Let´s go for more

Since the Thursday of December 10, 1981, we colme to this Plaza to fight. We continue to reclaim and demand the answers, which they have not yet provided us. We have a commitment with an entire generation of political and social activists. It is the generation of those who fought for a future with justice, equality, independence and sovereignty for our community: our detained and disappeared companions.

After many long years of fighting, we have obtained: the restitution of the identity of 88 youth.

The annulment of the laws of Obediencia Debida (Due Obedience) y Punto Final (Final Point) has allowed us to move forward with court trials against the oppressors of state terrorism.

The recovery of the ex-CCD in order to transform them into spaces in Memory.

The idleness of the ESMA, a paradigmatic clandestine center, in which today one begins to discuss the human rights.

The International Convention against the Forced Disappearance of People.

The tributes to the detained disappeared multiplies day by day throughout the country.

Therefore, today, we say: Let´s go for more! It is urgent that the court trials speed up, urgent that all and each one of the oppressors that participated in state terrorism are condemned for life in prison.

The live appearance of Jorge Julio Lopez has urged the investigation and punishment of those involved in his disappearance, which is applicable to a global politicization of protection for those linked to the Judicial Process.

It is urgent that we search and recuperate the identity of the four hundred still missing children of the detained and disappeared companions, kidnapped by the repressors and their accomplices. Urgent is the cessation of the repression of the early trigger, of the tortures within prisons, police stations and vigilant mobs. Urgent is a just and equal distribution of wealth and a full practice of the economic, social and cultural (work, housing, health and education for all) rights.

It is urgent that we work to protect the environment, defend the right of the land of our people so that they do not suffer from dispossession, and defend the valuation and integration of their cultures.

It is urgent that we defend full employment and the dignified conditions of work. As well as fighting against laws of impunity, it is important today that we all continue our fight for the nullification of the Anti-Terrorist Law, which permits the repression of popular claims. Even more, we urge for the modification of Law 26200, which provides the Tipificación de Delitos de Lesa Humanidad la Teoría de los Dos Demonios.

It is urgent that we know The Truth about all and every one of the detained disappeared: how, when, where, who, and why they decided their destinies. We urge them to open their files and to tell us what they know.

These flags which we continue to raise today are not new and not only ours: they carry the seal of the fights of our 30,000 detained disappeared.

For those who are in the Plaza, for those who are not physically here, and for those who have always accompanied us with the example of their lives and generous participation in the fight, to change the unjust structures of this society, for all those who construct day by day, a just and solitary country, this March is a Yes to commitment, an act of activism, a continuation of an indeclinable fight for The Truth and The Justice, and towards the realization of a country they dreamed.
